Abo Sofian Ibn Al-Hareth Mosque

As part of a redevelopment initiative by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, the Abo Sofian Ibn Al-Hareth Mosque in Salmiya was reimagined by Dar MAC Consultants to celebrate Islamic identity through clarity, simplicity, and reverence. The design emphasizes purity in form, with interlocking volumes and distinct Islamic motifs rendered across the facades, fostering a sense of openness and connection between the mosque and its surroundings.
Glass facades adorned with foreign Islamic inscriptions invite natural light into the space while enhancing the architectural dialogue between tradition and modernity. The mosque becomes a visual and spiritual anchor for the community, symbolizing unity and purpose for those within and around it.
